Another Day

Shadows lift with the morning sunrise, to unveil its kiss to the morning mist draped upon the mountains.  Radiant sparkles flutter in the surface of the lake, as the birds chirp their song to the day.

The bells peal a dirge
The shuffle of feet stir dust
On an open grave

Barren Wilderness

FTF Tree

Through the undressed trees, the wind howls
a wild shriek of fury spent, but never quashed
A thin voice wavers, yet still it’s heard…
There’s nothing to be done, for I am lost

A wild shriek of fury spent, but never quashed
despite the vanquished, despite the insurgence
of boldness, the resolve towards supremacy

A thin voice wavers, yet still it’s heard
Above the roar that stains the dark lit sky
A noise in vain, the resonance of defiance

There’s nothing to be done, for I am lost
my will long spent amid the damage
my withered bones to lay forgotten

Once Upon a Time

ForestA flurry of frosty air blusters
across the well-trodden woodland
A vestige of murky mist, twisting
around the ever changing wind

Come it cries,
come walk the dark path
Dance with shadows

And something smiles
inside those shadows

A faceless wicked, woven
in whispers, in corners of time
softly tempting, in our desires
on the edges of our nightmares

Come closer, it beckons,
come play on the dark path
Be swallowed by the shadows
We want you to stay
